About the National Register of Parkinson’s Specialist Personal Trainers
The Register is run by 4D Life in partnership with Parkinson’s UK and supported by CIMSPA, Fitpro and Cure Parkinson’s. We connect with the Parkinson’s community through local NHS Neuro Rehab teams, Parkinson’s UK local representatives, local charities and online advertising. Our goal is to make it possible for anyone diagnosed with Parkinson’s in the UK to work with a fully qualified and experienced, Parkinson’s Specialist Personal Trainer should they wish to. Exercise is still the only method of slowing the progression of Parkinson’s. There is as yet no medication that can do this. The right exercise, nutrition and lifestyle can significantly improve your journey living with Parkinson’s, slowing progression, improving symptoms and making you feel better.
